n 1976, Darci Viapiana started the production of portable domestic grills in Caxias do Sul, in the south of Brazil.
Innovation has been in the DNA of Scheer’s business since the beginning: a car windshield wiper motor inspired the introduction of a novelty to the market and, therefore, the rotisserie system was created.
In the following years, the company kept researching and seeking the development of better and more efficient products.
The factory grew, participation in business fairs came, sales representatives were added to the team and Scheer also began to serve restaurants and steakhouses segment. The technological vision represented the market’s expansion and the beginning of exportation, entering the United States.
Currently, Scheer Churrasqueiras is a reference incommercial and residential barbecue machines and grills, as well as barbecue accessories, spreading its know-how to more than 80 countries, on the five continents, with patented innovations and certifications.
